This Cookie Policy explains how Pallas by Lonia AI uses cookies and similar technologies such as browser local storage. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. "Similar technologies" include browser local storage, which stores small amounts of data in your browser. Both can be first-party (set by the site you are visiting) or third-party (set by another domain).

2. Our Approach

The Pallas marketing site is a static site built for privacy. It sets no advertising cookies, no analytics or tracking cookies, and no first-party browser storage of any kind. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell your data. Free-scan abuse limits are enforced on our servers, keyed on the requesting network address, not in your browser.

3. Why You See No Consent Banner

Under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, consent is required before non-essential storage is placed on your device. Storage that is strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for does not require consent, and neither does a preference you set yourself on the site. The equivalent positions under the CCPA and under Canadian PIPEDA are the same in substance.

This site places no non-essential storage. There is therefore nothing for you to consent to and nothing for you to reject, and no consent banner is required or shown. We removed the one this site used to display on 7 September 2026. A banner offering to reject non-essential storage on a site that sets none is not a protection; it describes the site inaccurately and asks for a decision that changes nothing.

4. First-Party Storage

There is none to list. The Pallas marketing site sets no first-party cookies and writes nothing to your browser's local storage or session storage. Nothing on this site is stored to identify you, to count your visits, or to carry state between pages.

One item existed before 7 September 2026. The cookie notice this site used to show recorded your answer in local storage under the name pallas-cookie-consent. The notice is gone and so is the reason to keep the record, so if your browser still holds that item from an earlier visit, this site deletes it the next time you load any page here. Nothing is written in its place.

5. Third-Party Cookies

We do not embed third-party trackers on the marketing site. Two third parties may set cookies, and only when you actively use a specific feature:

Cloudflare Turnstile may run when you submit a form (free scan, newsletter, resource download) to distinguish humans from bots. It is a privacy-preserving alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs and does not track you across sites. It is strictly necessary: without it the form cannot be submitted, because the server that receives the form refuses any request that carries no Turnstile token.
Stripe sets cookies during checkout and fraud prevention when you proceed to purchase a plan. This happens on Stripe-hosted checkout, governed by Stripe's own privacy notice.

Neither is set unless you use the feature that needs it, and neither is under our control once set: their names and lifetimes are set by Cloudflare and by Stripe under their own notices, not by us. Because both are strictly necessary to a feature you have chosen to use, neither requires consent, and neither is used for advertising.

6. Clearing Anything Left On Your Device

Because we set no advertising or analytics cookies, there is nothing to opt out of for tracking purposes, and because we store nothing of our own in your browser, there is nothing of ours left to clear. If you want to remove everything this site or the two third parties above have left on your device, every current browser can do that from its own settings:

Blocking or clearing storage does not degrade this site. Nothing here depends on anything being remembered between visits.

7. If This Changes

If we ever introduce non-essential cookies or non-essential browser storage, they will be off by default, nothing will be set before you have given consent, and withdrawing that consent will be as easy as giving it. None of that applies today, and this page will say so plainly on the day it stops being true.

8. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology or law. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
